People wishing to apply for British Citizenship have to complete a form and send it to the Home Office enclosing important documents such as passports. Often applications are delayed as forms are completed incorrectly and have to be returned for amendments.
From 21st January 2008, in partnership with the Home Office, the Registrars at Oldham Register Office will be able to assist those who are applying for British Citizenship by offering a Nationality Checking Service for their application forms. For a fee (please see below), our trained staff, registered by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner, will:

Please note that our checking service fees are in addition to the fee payable to the Home Office for processing an application for nationality.
