What the service is

The service provides a range of services that promote the independence of disabled people. This includes re-enablement for adults, accessible information, funding opportunities, assistive technology demonstration rooms and equipment, volunteering, room hire, Welfare Rights and so on.

Who the service is for

Primarily disabled people but also carers, professionals, voluntary groups, volunteers and the wider public.

How can you access the service

For re-enablement services, disabled people (adults) need to be assessed as eligible and referrals need to be made through ADIS:

Opening hours - 8.40am - 5.00pm

No referrals are required to access our assistive technology demonstration rooms, Oldham Disability information Point (ODIP) and other services, contact us to make an appointment or pop in. You can also find out about room hire arrangements in this way. Welfare Rights is by appointment only (contact the centre).

Opening hours - 9.00am - 4.30pm weekdays for independent living services

Rooms can be hired bewteen 9.00am - 9.30pm weekdays and 9.00am - 5.00pm Saturdays.
