You can actually recycle around 85% of the contents of your wheelie bin. This includes:
- plastic bottles
- tins, cans and aerosols
- paper and cardboard
- drinks cartons (tetra paks)
- shoes and textiles
- books
- glass
- foil
- garden and food waste
- toys and games
- bicycles
- furniture
- spectacles
- mobile phones
- printer cartridges
- batteries
- engine oil
Bulky items such as white goods, computers, bicycles and furniture can also be recycled.
