Household Waste and Recycling Centres in Oldham
There are three Household Waste and Recycling Centres in the Oldham area:
- Arkwright Street Household Waste and Recycling Centre, Oldham. Tel: 0161 626 0362
- Beal Hey Civic Household Waste and Recycling Centre, Chandos Street, Shaw. Tel: 01706 845698
- North Manchester Household Waste and Recycling Centre, Reliance Street, Newton Heath. Tel: 0161 688 5611
The opening times for the sites are 8am to 8pm in the summer and 8am to 6pm in the winter. The Household Waste and Recycling Centres are closed on 25 December and 1 January. The height restriction for vehicle accessing Arkwright Street and Beal Hey sites is 5' 9" (approximately 1m 73cm). High sided vehicles can access the Reliance Street site. The following materials can be taken to Arkwright Street, Beal Hey and Reliance Street sites for recycling. Please look on the Recycle for Greater Manchester website for further information

Asbestos Disposal Information
A dedicated skip for householders rubbish containing asbestos is located at the three Household Waste and Recycling Centres in the Oldham area.
