Green Bin Collection Service
Green Bin for green garden waste
Oldham operates a kerbside collection of garden waste to 34,500 householders across the borough and will continue to expand this service. It couldn't be easier!
- Just place your green garden waste; grass cuttings, leaves, bark, twigs, small branches, prunnings, hedge clippings, flowers, and plants in your Green Wheelie Bin and it will be taken away to be composted.
- Remember please do not put plastic bags, food from the kitchen, bricks, stones, rubble, soil, turf, pet waste, or household rubbish in your Green Bin.
- Place your Green bin beside your entrance gate or driveway at the front of your property (unless otherwise informed) in full view of the road, on your correct collection day
- Please ensure that your Green Bin is out by 7:15am, or you may miss the collection
- Once emptied please return your Green Bin to
its normal storage point as soon as possible.
- Your Green Bin will be collected fortnightly
