Stakeholder Partnership Event 2006 - Moving the vision forward

Date: Wednesday 18 October 2006
Time: 9 am to 12.30 pm
Location: Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham

Conference theme

Building on the pioneering Visioning Conference 2005, people working with children and young people across the Borough are invited to join this important event to help shape future services and to sharpen the focus on delivering integrated Children’s Services.

The Children and Young People Partnership’s key aims are to improve services and outcomes for children and young people in the Borough. This event gave all participants in delivering services for children and young people the opportunity to:

  • learn about the progress that has been made towards the Every Child Matters agenda, and
  • contribute their suggestions and ideas as to how the many organisations delivering services can work together to improve the lives of the Borough’s youngest residents.

The Conference aimed

  • to further develop the partnerships that exist across the Borough
  • to strengthen our commitment to working together to provide the best possible services we can for all of our children and young people
  • to celebrate our achievements so far; and
  • to plan the next steps towards fully meeting the Every Child Matters agenda in Oldham
