Open access land
There are some areas of Oldham where you can enjoy the land without having to stay on footpaths.
Most of these open access areas are moorland and common land within the hills of the South Pennines.

Look out for open access signs around the countryside.

Walk
You cannot cycle, horse ride, drive or camp (apart from where a right to do this already exists e.g. along a bridleway)
