Keep Oldham Tidy is a service which offers residents the opportunity to report issues with pictures through the web. To support the initiative libraries will be holding open surgeries. See the local links page for further information.

To join Oldham Libraries please fill in an application at any library or download the application form.
Note: If you wish to join you must bring ONE form of ID and it must have your name and address on it. Valid forms of ID include a driving license or utility bill. A passport is not acceptable as it does not have your address on it.
You will require a PIN to use some of our online facilities. If you don't have a PIN you can request a PIN online and one will be sent out to you. It is advisable to change your PIN after you receive it to a number that you will be able to remember easily.
You can now renew your books online by logging on to your borrower account.
Here you can find story and information books, books on tapes, magazines, Internet access and homework help, and its all free!
We are happy to visit schools to give talks about books to children, or to parents. We also are happy to offer storytelling in school and support your school book week.

Our service exists to provide information to anyone, anywhere on any subject from our many directories, journals and online resources.
Oldham Libraries 'Talking Book Service' provides books on tape and CD for use at home and is provided free to visually impaired people and to some people with other disabilities.
We manage special collections (often of old or rare books, archives and vocal scores) which may be available on request from library users but are not generally kept on public display. To view these collections search the library catalogue online.
