You will need a PIN to use some of our online facilities. If you don't have a PIN you can request a PIN online and one will be sent out to you. We advise changing your PIN after you receive it to a number that will be easy for you to remember - please log in to the Zones online catalogue to make this change.
You can now renew your books online by logging on to your borrower account. (January 2010 - please note that we are currently experiencing technical difficulties with the online renewal system, which we hope to have fixed soon)

You're never too young to join your local library. Click here for a range of children's information, including storybooks, books on tapes, magazines, internet access and homework help.
We are happy to visit schools to give talks about books to children and parents. We also offer storytelling sessions and support your school book week. Please contact your local library to find out more.
We provide a free personal delivery service to people who are unable to visit their local library. Click here to find out more about the home library service.
Oldham libraries are serious about literature development. We can always suggest something new for you to read and offer support to budding authors Check out the Readers & Writers pages for more details.
You can access many reference resources on a wide range of subjects at all libraries and online from anywhere.
Our talking book service provides books on CD and tape for use at home. The service is free to visually impaired people and to some people with other disabilities.
We manage special collections of old and rare books, archives and vocal scores. These may be available on request from library users but are not generally kept on public display. To view these collections search the library catalogue online.
