| DELEGATED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THREE ADDITIONAL DAYS | -3 | |
| TOTAL SCHOOL DAYS | 190 | |
The Local Education Authority has delegated the responsibility for setting three additional non-teaching days to governors and headteachers. Governing bodies will be required to determine three further days when pupils will not attend and inform the LEA of the additional days set.
School buildings that may be required for use as polling stations and cannot operate whilst polling takes place must use one of the additional days on polling day (polling usually takes place on the first Thursday in May).
