Quality Effectiveness and Support Team

What we do

Promote and support the inclusion of children and young people with additional needs.
Work across the phases from nursery to Year 11 to support Oldham schools to provide for pupils with additional needs.
Provide schools with access to a team of teachers with qualifications and expertise in communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social emotional and behavioural development and knowledge of interventions that work.
Work in partnership with schools to identify and support areas for development to improve outcomes for children and young people with additional needs.
Monitor progress of individual pupils and groups of pupils with additional needs.
Support and challenge schools to ensure there is universal quality effective provision for children with additional needs in Oldham schools.
