The Communications and newsletters page will help you to find out more about the JAR and enable you to share information with colleagues.

Your own organisation will circulate updates to you on what is happening through your usual communication routes. You will also be invited to attend briefing sessions and be able to find up-to-date information on the JAR web pages.

A series of briefings took place during the week commencing 1 September for around 300 staff across Oldham Children's Trust who will be interviewed or take part in focus groups with the JAR Inspectors.

JAR newsletters – Bee the Best

Help us tell the Oldham story

We are looking for articles covering areas of good practice on work you are doing or have recently undertaken with children and young people. Please could you send us details of any good news stories or case study evidence you have, to include in the Bee the Best JAR newsletters, on the website, or to show the inspectors when they visit Oldham.

To contribute an article all you need to do is fill in the template and return it, with any supporting documents and photographs (sent electronically by email or in hard copy, which will be returned to you), to jar@oldham.gov.uk or JAR Project team, Level 10, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1XJ. Articles should ideally not be any more than 100-200 words.
