A School Travel Plan sets out how a school will encourage pupils to walk, cycle, car share or use public transport. A school must have a Travel Plan.

Training at school

Free training for up to 24 pupils in 100 schools!

To be eligible, schools must have an approved School Travel Plan.

The training includes:

• How to control your bike
• Being able to look and assess traffic
• Hand signals
• Where to position yourself on the road
• Safety and maintenance advice
