Local Plan Review Regulation 18

The first stage of plan-making (Regulation 18 Notification) took place between July and August 2017

To inform this work the local community and other interested parties were asked: 

  • What the Local Plan should contain and what the key planning issues are for Oldham; and 
  • What, in broad terms should be the main aims of the Local Plan 

In addition, we published our Integrated Assessment Scoping Report and invited the Environment Agency, Historic England and Natural England to comment on the scope of the Local Plan. This was also available for the local community and stakeholders to view and comment on if they wished.
