Oldham Council is proud of its men and women serving in the Armed Forces. The Council is committed to ensuring that all citizens of the Borough who are currently serving in the armed forces and veterans are not disadvantaged due to their service.

On 22 October 2013, Oldham Council signed the Armed Forces Community Covenant as a formal recognition of our commitment to the Armed Forces community.
