Advocacy for social services clients

If you are asking for or using a social care service (or are a carer of someone using services), you may find that it is not always easy to express your wishes or preferences. If decisions are being made that effect your future, you may feel that your side of the discussion is not being put across properly. An advocate is a person who can speak up for you in these situations.
