Support for learners with additional needs

We have a wide range of support for students with additional needs.

A member of the team is always present at advice and information sessions.

Examples of equipment and learning support

• Magnified screen, keyboard and an easy to control mouse for a learner in an ICT class.
• Talking scales and microwave for a learner in a cookery class
• Loop systems are installed in all reception areas of Lifelong Learning Centres and are available in the classroom on request.
• Learning support workers give support in the classroom based on your individual learning needs.
