How we have Responded to your Feedback

Your views and ideas help us to improve our services. Therefore we take your feedback very seriously.

Our response to customer feedback to date includes:

The Housing Service Inspectors conducted inspections of our caretaking services in July 2004. This involved going out onto our estates to check the standard of the caretaking provision at that time. A number of recommendations for improvements were highlighted by the inspectors which included:

  • Approve expansion of the Caretaking Service to cover all blocks of flats. 50 blocks containing approximately 600 properties are missed out of the programme.  2 caretakers would be required to cover this area of work.
  • Approve increased frequency of the Caretaking Service to every 2 weeks.  
  • Conduct a proactive campaign with residents for expansion of community caretakers
  • Ensure tenants and leaseholders are better informed about what to expect from the Caretaking Service.

These recommendations were taken to our main board in November and December 2004 and approved for implementation.
