Switching Energy Suppliers
First Choice Homes Oldham has formed an alliance with Scottish Power Manweb, to offer all tenants and residents od Oldham, lower energy prices.
To switch supplier or see if you can save money on your energy bills:
- Call Scottish Power Manweb free on 0800 027 0305 quoting MDMJ for a no obligation, personalised savings quote. Switching supplier will all be done over the phone so you won’t need to fill in any forms.
- Scottish Power Manweb will contact your existing supplier for you and arrange a date to transfer your supply (usually 28 days).
- Scottish Power Manweb will write to you to confirm this date and ask for your meter readings.

That's it! From that date you will supplied by Scottish Power Manweb and on transfer you will receive two energy saving lightbulbs.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best overall service to our tenants - on receipt of a completed ‘Notice to Terminate your Tenancy’ form, First Choice Homes Oldham will commence the transfer of the gas and electricity services over to Scottish Power Manweb. If you do wish to withdraw your notice for termination, please contact your local housing office as soon as possible.
It is also important to note that there is no contract to sign with Scottish Power Manweb, and you are free to switch suppliers at any time. Switching suppliers will take around 28 days.
