Our Caretaking service works to ensure that our tenants live in a safe, clean environment, removing rubbish and dumped items from our estates, and cleaning communal areas and empty properties. Our Caretaking service consists of several sections performing various roles:
- Residential caretakers provide a service to all tenants living in multi-storey blocks of flats.
- Community Caretakers are dedicated to specific estates and are active members of the community.
- Mobile Caretakers and the Planned Worked Team provide a cleaning service for communal areas.
- Reactive Caretakers respond quickly to requests from tenants and housing offices to remove dumped rubbish from communal land and gardens of empty properties.
- The Communal Light Repair Team are a team of qualified electricians who will attend any electrical fault on communal lights as well changing bulbs and adjusting timers.
- The Void Cleansing and Rubbish Removal Team clean out empty properties before re-let
