The Furnished Tenancy Scheme makes it possible for you to set up a comfortably furnished FCHO home.
Many people have difficulty setting up a home because of the high initial costs. The Furnished Tenancy Scheme enables you to avoid these barriers by providing a furniture package for which you pay a service charge on top of your rent.
If you are eligible, the service charge may be covered by Housing Benefit.
Options Available to You
- Fully furnished or part furnished packages
- No deposit required to rent a furnished property
- Intruder alarm fitted as standard in all furnished tenancies
- Furniture of a very high standard that meets British Standard Safety Regulations

Fully Furnished includes:
- Carpets, curtains, fridge, cooker, sofa, table, 2 chairs, bed, wardrobe and drawers

Part Furnished includes:

- (this package is only offered on flats)
C + C includes:
- Carpets and Curtains
- (this package is offered on all properties)
