Local Board Annual Plans

FCHO's Local Boards were set up in 2002 and one of their key responsibilities is to monitor local performance and hold senior officers to account on behalf of their local communities.

A new responsibility of the Local Boards is to publish an annual plan, which tells our tenants what they can expect from their local teams.  The annual plan reports on, amongst other issues, the Local Board's priorities for the year ahead, and an annual report outlining the achievements of the previous year.

The Local Board's priorities for the next year include continuing to promote openness to ensure that tenants and all staff feel able to contribute to the work of the Board and the decisions that are made.  Specific priorities of each Board will be organised around five key components:

  • Environment Regeneration.
  • Ensuring a pro-active Board Performance.
  • Resident Involvement Voids.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour / Youth Nuisance.
  • Performance Monitoring.
