What is it?
This is a map of the whole Borough that indicates the main Regeneration programmes and projects that are being delivered or are proposed.
What is shown on the plan?
The Borough of Oldham has a wide range of Regeneration activities such as:
Housing Market Renewal (HMR)
Building Schools for the Future (BSF)
Metrolink (part of the Greater Manchester Tram System)
New Deal for Communities (NDC)
Local Investment Finance Trust (LIFT – Primary Care Trust)
Employment Sites
The Council is working on a very ambitious programme of economic, social and environmental projects within the borough that form the basis of its Regeneration Strategy - the 'Oldham Beyond Implementation Plan' (click here for more information on the Borough Regeneration Activity Plan).
The Borough Regeneration Activity Plan shows the location and boundaries of the main programmes and projects which demonstrates their spatial links and connections.
What are they?
These are maps showing Regeneration Activity within local areas of the Borough based on the ten Area Committee boundaries.
What is shown on the plans?
These plans show all the above Regeneration activities at a more local level with more detailed information on each of the activities within the ten area committee areas; for example projects to improve Community Safety, our Environment, Road Safety etc are included.
For each of the plans listed below you can click on 'plan' to go to a map showing the activities or click on 'more info' to go to further detailed written information for the area.
