What we do
- Promote and support the inclusion of children and young people with additional
needs.
- Work across the phases from nursery to Year 11 to support Oldham schools to provide for
pupils with additional needs.
- Provide schools with access to a team of teachers with qualifications and expertise in
communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social emotional and behavioural development
and knowledge of interventions that work.
- Work in partnership with schools to identify and support areas for development to improve
outcomes for children and young people with additional needs.
- Monitor progress of individual pupils and groups of pupils with additional needs.
- Support and challenge schools to ensure there is universal quality effective provision
for children with additional needs in Oldham schools.
