We are run as a not-for-profit partnership between councillors, tenants and independent volunteers.
We are responsible for managing, letting, repairing and modernising the borough’s council properties. We are also committed to ensuring that all of our customers receive the highest possible quality of service.
We are managed by a board of Directors who oversee the overall strategic direction of the company. In addition to this there are six local boards responsible for monitoring the day to day operations of their respective geographical areas.

The Audit Commission is an independent body appointed by the government to inspect housing organisations. They have judged that we are delivering good services. This has allowed us to access over £120 million in funding to bring Oldham’s council properties up to the government’s Decent Homes Standard by April 2007.
