Evacuation

Don’t panic! Oldham Council has plans to take you to a ‘Rest Centre’.

If this happens you need to consider the following:

You may decide not to go to the Rest Centre and prefer to stay with friends or relatives. Inform the police or a neighbour if you decide to do this.

If you have special needs or are elderly, don’t worry. All your needs will be catered for and arrangements made.

Please be patient and cooperate to the best of your ability. Remember Oldham Council and the emergency services are trained to deal with such incidents and will be doing all they can to ensure your safety.
