Oldham Council has an MOT Testing Station and carries out periodic and random testing on Taxi's and Licensed Private Hire vehicles. MOT's can also be carried out on Private and commercial vehicles, and the facility has a reputation for independence, as repairs cannot be carried out using the Council's workshops.
