Sport Equity
Oldham Sport Development is committed to providing an inclusive service and recognises equality groups within its work. The service is part of the Equality Standard for Local Government scheme and is measured against its equality impact work.
Sports equity underpins targets set around service delivery and Equality training is an important part of staff training.
Through the Equality Standard for Local Government Oldham Sport Development is working towards Level 4 attainment by March 2009. The annual Equalities Self Review and Action Planning programme helps to identify and support Equality priorities for the service.
Equality priorities are taken from actions around:
- Service Delivery
- Outcomes for Service Users
- Customer Satisfaction
- Progressions for Service Users
- Other aspects impacting on Equality services
