Service Aims
We have nine key objectives for 2007-08. These objectives provide an
overview of what Oldham Sport Development will deliver, and shape the action plans that accompany them:
Service Aims 2007/2008
- Support the delivery of the PE Schools Sport and Club Links
Strategy.
- Continuously improve the service to achieve and maintain excellence
- To create and support the development of well structured and child friendly, inclusive
Sports Clubs
- To raise and recognize the number and quality of volunteers and coaches in the Borough.
- Ensure the successful development and delivery of key Sport Development programmes
- To work in and within Oldham’s Communities, to increase and develop life-long participation
in sport and physical activity.
- To increase the profile of Sport Development through publicity and marketing
- To improve effectiveness through the management and personal development of all
staff.
- Ensure an opportunity for all young people to participate in high quality competitive
opportunities
