Integrated Youth Service - Sport Development are committed to helping clubs in Oldham become well structured, safe and accessible to all. We can help Clubs in a range of ways;

The service is committed to working closely with and helping clubs in Oldham become well structured, safe and accessible to all. We can help clubs in a range of ways including:

  • Assistance and guidance with the set up of a new sport club.

  • Supporting clubs to work towards and achieve Club Mark accreditation

  • Providing funding advice, assistance with filling out funding and grant forms.

  • Assistance with the marketing of clubs, such as promoting your club to young people in the local area.

  • Subsidised places on Club Development/ Coach Development courses for members of your club such as Child Protection and Equity in coaching workshops.

  • Access to NGB courses throughout the North West, some of which may be subsidised.

  • Helping clubs to have greater capacity, providing training for volunteers and facilitating partnership working with other clubs/ organisations.

  • Hosting and offering access to club development events.  We host events throughout the year for clubs in Oldham including Club Workshops, Club Conferences, Oldham Sports Awards and other club focused events.
