Oldham launched its public awareness campaign for the Sustrans Connect2 bid for the £50 million People's Lottery bid with a festive touch. Twelve cycling Santa Clauses dropped in on pupils of St Mary's High Crompton Primary School to encourage the pupils to get their parents to vote for Connect2 in the nationwide public vote from the 26th November.
