Many schools in Oldham benefit from Music Centre teaching staff delivering National Curriculum Music in the classroom. This work may be used by head teachers as school based in-service training whereby members of the Curriculum Department train non-specialist teachers in the delivery of National Curriculum Music.
As well as all of the above, their role is often to support and guide head teachers and class teachers on developing school music policies, schemes of work and appropriate resources.
