To access Credo please use this link and enter your library card number if required. This number is on the back of your library card.
Credo Reference is like any other reference library except that it is electronic, allowing you to benefit from it being fully searchable, browsable and interlinked. Credo gives you access to over 100 reference books including encyclopaedias, dictionaries, atlases, thesauri and a wide range of subject- specific titles covering everything from the arts to accountancy, science to Shakespeare and law to literature.
For any factual information whether it is for a crossword or coursework, research or recreation. You can look up anything from words to facts, people to places and concepts to quotations.
Credo is not only available in any of our thirteen libraries throughout the borough you can also use it in your own home, office or any other computer in the world as long as you are a member of Oldham Library. You need your library card number to enter the Credo website when you are not in a library.
The service is absolutely free wherever you use it. If you need to get a library card that is free too. Just pop into your local library with some proof of your name and address and you will be able to join immediately.
