Express Library

The Express Library is open when the rest of the library is closed.

Open Monday to Thursday from 7–9.30pm.

The express library includes popular adult fiction, non-fiction,books for children and teenagers CDs, DVDs, photocopying facilities and computers.

Accessibility

  • Wheelchair access and lifts to the upper floor

  • 6 disabled toilets

  • Induction hearing loops at reception desks and in the performance space

  • Captioned video and DVDs are available for loan

Parking

  • 2 disabled parking spaces on Greaves Street (next to the library)

  • Southgate Street car park (access to the library across Southgate Street)

  • Pay and display car parks close to the library

  • Free on-street parking after 6pm
