Oldham Club Development Conference
This event was organised and facilitated by Oldham Sport Development, the concept for the conference was to provide an opportunity for representatives from voluntary sports clubs and school PE staff to come together from across Oldham. The conference provided the opportunity to inform clubs on the latest club development initiatives with a priority focus on Clubmark and School-to-club links. This was the first event of its kind in Oldham and provided a platform for links between schools and sports clubs to be formed.
The Outcomes of the event were;
- 18 school representatives attended (every Secondary School in Oldham represented)
- 48 representatives from Sports Clubs attended from 40 clubs
- 6 representatives from our partner organisations attended
- 72 delegates in total
The event was a great success and is now established on the Club Development Calendar to be an annual event.
