Children's centres are at the heart of the Every Child Matters programme, which aims to improve outcomes for children and families.
They are places within your local community where children under 5 years and their families can access a full range of services, with extra support targeted at those who need it the most. There are a variety of activities held at the centres and at other sites within the local area, such as full and sessional childcare, and a range of services for you and your family.
Within children’s centres, organisations such as Oldham Council, health services, Jobcentre Plus, local childminders and many others all work closely together to support you and your family.
