Oldham Tourist Information Centre provides information for visitors to Oldham and the surrounding area. The Centre has just moved and is now based at Gallery Oldham, in the heart of Oldham's Cultural Quarter.
- We have holiday information for the whole of Great Britain and detailed information for a radius of 50 miles in the form of brochures and leaflets for the public to take away.
- We have information about local events and keep information on many major national events.
- We operate a local bed booking service and we are part of the national tourist information book a bed ahead service.
- We also issue YHA membership cards.
- We sell souvenirs and are based with the Gallery Oldham shop, which sells a wide range of crafts, exhibition catalogues, books and an excellent range of cards.
- We also have postcards, books, maps and trails of the Oldham area for sale.
- Tickets can also be booked through us for the Lowry, Oldham Coliseum and various local musical events.
- We are also agents for day trips with Courtesy, including Yelloway Coaches and Stott’s Coaches.
- We supply local and national travel information and provide a route planning service.
- We sell tickets for the Holker Hall Garden Festival and the Southport Flower Show
- We receive and respond to enquiries in person, by telephone, fax and e-mail.
- We publish an accommodation leaflet, ‘Where to Stay in Oldham and Saddleworth’, which is also displayed on the website www.visitoldham.co.uk.
