The Register Office is open to the public Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm to provide for the registration of recent Births and Deaths taking place within the Oldham Borough. We also deal with civil preliminaries to marriages of Oldham residents (notices of marriage) and perform civil marriage ceremonies at the Register Office and other approved venues within the Oldham Borough.

The Register Office holds records of Births Deaths and Marriages which have taken place in the Borough from 1837 to current date. Access to these records may be obtained via the purchase of a certified copy.
